🍯🐝Hi Honey Bees! Happy Sassy Sunday!

This weekend was spent tackling what seems to be never ending laundry and finding a home for some miscellaneous items.  This has a been a productive weekend at home. I got my car’s oil changed, let my kitties, Ash and Ace, play on the patio, and it even rained last night as I tended to my room.

I have been going to the gym consistently this month. Packing my bag the night before eliminates the excuse to not go and changes to mindset to ‘I get to workout,’ rather than, ‘I have to workout.’

I’m still navigating a stuffy nose, which I find quite annoying. Hopefully, sleeping with my humidifier will do the trick.

How are you balancing your current work load and everyday tasks? Any tips you would like to share?

Be Fashionable

On one of my live Tea Time with Tiara Deahn twitch streams, I shared that my local TJMAXX has some bomb colorful handbags. Growing up in New Mexico I love the color turquoise.

When I saw this turquoise jelly purse, I had to have. I found a similar one on the TJMAXX website, they reference the color as mint, but we will debate that later! 😜

Colorful accessories can make any outfit look more put together with a splash of personality.

 

 

 

Embrace Individuality

I stumbled upon Debra Cartwright beautiful art of black women when googling ‘black female art.’ The narrative is changing, but it’s rare see women of color representing luxury or elegance. I find this piece just so beautiful. It’s simple, effortless, and care-free.

Stay Classy

Nurturing my intellect. Listening to audiobooks during my morning commute, has helped to shift my mindset to  cultivating positive thoughts for my day. The saying still rings true, “Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.”

Treat Yourself

I love this brush. It evenly distributes hair products and keeps my curls feel silky. It’s less than $10 on amazon. A must have for fellow noodle heads.
