Hi Honeybees!

Well, I completed my 5k on Sunday, May 7th. My parents were there to cheer me on. I have to admit, it wasn’t pretty. Even with my six week training, it was rough.

However, even with my not so graceful performance, I am glad that I did it. Now that I am 31 years old, I have to make it a conscious effort to continue to incorporate fitness into my lifestyle.

Gone are the days of my volleyball practices and regimented workouts with someone coaching you on what to do.

Any excuse is better than none, however, if I am not physically fit, I know that other aspects in my life will suffer. There are plenty of days where I do not want to go to the gym, but I still go and manage to complete a workout.
